Campground Review – Palm Oasis RV Resort

We got the opportunity to stay at the Palm Oasis RV Resort in Thermal CA.  It’s one of the nicest resorts we’ve stayed at considering it really is in the middle of nowhere.  Near the Salton Sea, it advertises itself as an Oasis in the Coachella Valley.

It really feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere, it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to anywhere from this Oasis and once you decide to go somewhere, there’s really not much to see but the Salton Sea and a few small towns.  Unless you’re around for the famous Coachella Music Festivals.  If you do go to those, I can’t recommend this RV Resort enough.  It’s gorgeous and friendly.

Our Campsite

We actually stayed there 5 nights and it was wonderful.  The lots are big and spacious with concrete pads and large grassy areas.  There’s a huge dog run, there’s a nice pond for your dog to swim in and they are very very dog-friendly.  If your dog is well behaved and stays with you, there’s no problem letting them off leash to swim in the pond.

The laundry rooms and showers are nice and it’s really easy to do laundry while you’re hanging out at the pool.  The lots are huge, level and grassy, plus there are lemon, orange and grapefruit trees galore and you’re encouraged to help yourself to this delicious fruit while staying in the park.

Lemon, Orange & Grapefruit trees
Fresh Lemons, Oranges and Grapefruit available to you during your stay. Pick and eat as many as you’d like.

They’re expanding too and adding more spaces, it was pretty full while we were there but it never ever felt crowded.  We will definitely go back, it’s just so peaceful, restful and a beautiful RV park.

Stay safe and keep making those memories.
