It’s been an epic journey, we left Reno/Lake Tahoe this morning at 8:00 am and are now at Rogue River, OR for the night.
A lot of mixed feelings right now, anxious to see family but sad to end this trip. We got to see a great amount of this beautiful country and there’s still a lot of open road out there. There’s so much to see and we didn’t even come close to seeing everything we could have seen on this road trip.
Guess that means, we’ll be on the road again soon and planning our next trip south for the winter. Yes, we’ll be heading south to Arizona this winter and looking forward to exploring there. We already have a number of reservations in various Arizona State Parks. It’s tough finding camping spots near Phoenix. So many of them have an age limit and won’t accept RVs/Motorhomes more than 10 years old (yes, I do believe that is a form of age discrimination, but apparently, it doesn’t count for RVs/Motorhomes).
So, we’re on our way home and should be back sometime tomorrow. But, don’t worry, we’ll keep posting about RVing and traveling the US and what it means to become Snowbirds.
Stay safe and keep making those memories.
